The manufacturing industry is a complex and ever-evolving landscape, a world of precision, efficiency, and continuous innovation. I recently had the opportunity to work in this environment at FES 360 smart manufacturing GmbH (formerly LIKUM GmbH and A. Maier Präzision GmbH) in Germany. This experience, which concluded in mid-September, provided valuable insights into the intricacies of high-tech Automotive Lighting production.

Working in the Injection Molding Department, my responsibilities were focused on the hands-on aspects of the manufacturing process.

This included:

Ensuring on-time part production and making necessary adjustments to robots and handling equipment.

Independent mold setup, adjustment, and operation of the Arburg injection molding Machines.

Monitoring and optimization of production processes, including troubleshooting. Plastic part testing, quality assurance, and Documentation.
